These are the issues that we are currently reviewing. If any of them is of interest to you, we ask that you participate in the process and submit your opinion, suggestions, recommendations/proposals to us via the email  link  below each topic. Issue 1. - Support for the President and the Attorney General on his policies, adherence to the maintenance of Rule of Law and upholding the Constitution of the Country and  his support for the removal of the Immunity Clause that protects some leaders from criminal prosecution 

Issue 2. - Illegal  bank charges and violation of CBN lending policies by certain banks in Nigeria.

Issue 3. - Need to re-evaluate the current limit of 8 years  on Vehicles imported into Nigeria and extend it to 12 years with mandated year Vehicle  Condition/ Maintenance Inspection Policies as is done in  United States

Issue 4. - Abandoned "Nnamdi Azikiwe's Memorial House", a  Conference Centre at  Zungeru , Niger State.

                 2007  ISSUES

Issue 1:   The Cement Industry: high prices, scarcity, Reasons, effect on the economy and solutions and policy changes: currentissues@nigeriapolicyinstitute.org 

Issue 2Current Policy on Vehicle Importation Age Limit is eight years. Most vehicles making their way into Nigeria are more than 10 years old. What are the impacts of the current policy to the economy and the masses and shall it be changed?    Send your comment to currentissues@nigeriapolicyinstitute.org 

Issue 3. The continued detention of the Civil Rights and Freedom  Activist, Chief Ralph Uwazulike. What are his crimes and why is he not on trial, or why is he not on bail pending possible charges. Why is his fundamental human rights being violated? Has he been accorded due process under the law? Is  there a double standard in the application of the Rule of Law.
